Las intenciones de emprender en estudiantes universitarios: un análisis mediante el modelo de orientación empresarial

Objetivo: determinar la relación entre las variables del modelo de orientación empresarial y la intención de emprendimiento de los universitarios. Metodología: se aplican 256 cuestionarios a estudiantes de nuevo ingreso de distintas instituciones de educación superior de Tamaulipas, México. Resultados: la proactividad y la propensión al riesgo influyen en las intenciones emprendedoras de los universitarios, mientras que la innovación no muestra relación significativa. Valor: el estudio es importante dada la situación global de la pandemia y el papel de las universidades en la formación de individuos capaces de desarrollar proyectos empresariales que crean empleos y fomentan el crecimiento socioeconómico regional. Limitaciones: la generalización de los resultados es limitada; sería útil replicar el estudio en distintos contextos y considerar estudiantes en diferentes etapas de sus carreras profesionales. Conclusiones: los hallazgos ayudan a las instituciones educativas a diseñar estrategias para aumentar las intenciones emprendedoras de los estudiantes durante su desarrollo profesional.
