Abstract
Con la traducción al español de la obra Wandering peoples. Colonialism, ethnic spaces and ecological frontiers in northwestern Mexico 1700-1850, Cynthia Radding ofrece a los hispanohablantes una visión minuciosa sobre las sociedades indígenas sonorenses en un lapso temporal dilatado. No obstante que la edición inglesa fue publicada en 1997, y no se modificaron los contenidos en su versión castellana, la perspectiva no pierde frescura; es pionera en la vertiente de la new mission history, así como en el uso de los conceptos etnogénesis y ecología social en un escenario de frontera colonial, que trasciende confines disciplinares.Open access policy
