Abstract
This essay examines continuities and changes in the profile of Coahuilenses migration to United States and reflects on that question in an attempt to cast some light on: (a) the economic and social importance of Coahuilenses migration to the USA, (b) the main qualitative changes and problems associated with it, and (c) the role played by remittances for help to diminish poverty level.
